A very dark piece of cognac amber with ancient plant inclusions. The amber has been ground and polished to reveal its true structure and the plant material preserved within.
Visible plant remains, including leaves, bark, and other organic matter, offer a glimpse into a forest from 40 million years ago. The polished surface lets you explore these details within the deep cognac tones.
The piece has an organic shape and a flat base that allows it to stand upright for display. When light passes through the amber, it reveals the warm tones and intricate network of plant material within.
Chosen by Ravgaard for its abundance of plant inclusions, standing form, and very dark cognac color, this one-of-a-kind specimen is a display piece for collectors and anyone fascinated by amber's natural history.
