This raw piece of Danish amber was found in the cold waters surrounding Denmark and weighs an impressive 226 grams. Its rich golden hue and smooth, organic surface tell the story of time and tide.
The piece features beautiful traces of calcareous tubeworms (Serpulidae) – small marine creatures that once built delicate, white chalky tubes on the amber while it rested on the seafloor. These rare formations create a striking contrast to the amber’s warmth and add a layer of quiet poetry to the piece.
