Return and Refund Policy

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period begins on the day you, or someone appointed by you, receives the order. If your order is delivered in several separate shipments, the period begins on the day you receive the last item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision before the 14-day period has expired.

Returning the Item

After informing us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase, you must return the item to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you notified us of your decision.

You are responsible for the return shipping costs, unless the item is faulty or we have made an error with your order.

We recommend that you pack the item securely and use a shipping method with tracking. Ravgaard is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

Condition of the Item upon Return

You are only liable for any decrease in the value of the item caused by handling it in a way that goes beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and function.

You may inspect and try the item as you would in a physical store.

Returned items must be handled with care and returned in a condition that allows us to assess and resell the item. If an item shows signs of use beyond normal inspection, or if it has absorbed a strong smell such as perfume, smoke or similar, this may reduce its resale value. In such cases, we may deduct an amount from your refund corresponding to the decrease in value.

Natural Materials and Care

Amber is a natural material and should be handled with care. Although amber is millions of years old, it is also a relatively delicate material and may break, crack or splinter if it is dropped, stepped on, chewed, exposed to hard impact or handled roughly.

Damage caused by impact, pressure, chewing, dropping, rough handling or improper use is not considered a product defect.

This does not affect your statutory rights if the item has a defect or lack of conformity that was present at the time of delivery.

Refunds

If you withdraw from your entire purchase, we will refund the payment received from you for the returned item(s), including the cost of our standard delivery option for the original shipment.

If you chose a more expensive delivery method than our standard delivery option, we will only refund an amount corresponding to our standard delivery cost.

If you return only part of your order, the original delivery cost will not be refunded.

The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

We will process the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned item, or until you have provided documentation that the item has been returned.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• Items made according to your specifications or clearly personalized.

• Sealed items that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, if the seal has been broken after delivery.

• Items that deteriorate or expire quickly.

• Items that have been inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.

Returns from Outside the EU

Customers outside the EU are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item is faulty or we have made an error with the order.

Any import duties, taxes, customs fees or carrier handling fees paid by the customer are not refunded by Ravgaard.

If an order is refused, not collected, or returned due to unpaid import duties, taxes or customs fees, any return shipping costs and carrier fees may be deducted from the refund.
