Wood & Amber – Handcrafted by Erik Ravgård
This collection features beautifully hand-turned wooden pieces, crafted by Erik Ravgård on his lathe. Each item is unique and made from high-quality Danish wood, shaped with precision and care. Erik’s ability to let the material guide the design gives every piece its own character.

Our woodworks are made with a strong focus on sustainability and longevity. By using locally sourced wood that might otherwise go unused, we create timeless pieces while supporting a more responsible use of natural resources.

As a signature detail, each wooden item includes a small piece of amber – symbolizing the meeting point between our two crafts. The fusion of wood and amber reflects the natural beauty of both materials and adds a warm, authentic charm to every design.

  • Unique, hand-turned pieces made from Danish wood
  • Designed and crafted by Erik Ravgård
  • Created with respect for nature and sustainable materials
  • A meaningful fusion of wood and amber
  • Timeless objects that bring warmth, story, and soul into your space

Wood Care – Ravgaard

Do not wash wooden items in the dishwasher. Wipe with a dry or damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid soaking, direct sunlight, and high humidity. To protect the wood, apply a natural oil occasionally.

Know us

We are a family-run business with a deep passion for amber. For more than 45 years, Margit and Erik have worked with this unique material at Ravgården, our shop and workshop on the Danish west coast. Here they still welcome guests, share their knowledge and keep the craft alive – a proud heritage carried through four generations. I, Christine, grew up at Ravgården and today continue the tradition by bringing our family’s work into the digital world with Ravgaard. For us, amber is more than jewelry: it is history, nature and emotional value. You are always welcome to reach out – we are here to share our knowledge and help you find exactly the piece you are looking for.
