Wooden Decoration Care – Ravgaard

Wood is a natural material and should be treated with care. Keep your wooden decoration away from direct sunlight, high humidity, and sudden changes in temperature, as this may cause the wood to dry out, warp, or crack.

Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, wipe with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately afterwards. Do not soak the wood or use soap, cleaning products, or abrasive sponges.

If your decoration includes amber details, such as an amber star, avoid soap, cleaning products, perfume, and harsh chemicals directly on the amber. Clean gently around these areas with a soft cloth.

To help protect the wood, you may apply a small amount of natural wood oil occasionally. Avoid applying oil directly to the amber details.

Over time, wood may change slightly in colour and surface. This is a natural part of the material and adds to the character of each handmade piece.

With gentle care, your wooden decoration will stay beautiful for many years to come.
