This exceptional tray is handcrafted at Ravgården from rare trumpet tree wood (Trompetkrone) – grown in the sandy soil of Læsø. The wood comes from a 20-year-old tree in Erik Ravgård’s sister’s garden near Østerby Harbour, making this piece rich in personal history and local character.

The tray is carved from a naturally curved branch, visible in the organic line of the grain. A small indentation on the outer surface is formed by the slightly softer pale heartwood – a beautiful natural feature that adds both texture and depth.

With its full bark edge, warm tones, and sculptural shape, the tray is perfect for display, serving, or simply as a tactile object in your space.

Finished with matte, colourless oil to preserve the wood’s natural beauty.

Measurements: Approx. 18 x 13 x 10 cm
Sold without contents. Handmade in Denmark.

Do not wash wooden items in the dishwasher. Wipe with a dry or damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid soaking, direct sunlight, and high humidity. To protect the wood, apply a natural oil occasionally.
