Amber Dog Collar – Natural Tick Protection

A gentle and natural way to help protect your dog from ticks – without chemicals or discomfort.

This amber collar is made with raw amber beads strung on durable paracord and finished with a plastic safety snap lock that opens if your dog gets caught or pulls too hard – making it safe for everyday wear.

Amber has been used for centuries in natural protection. While no scientific studies confirm the effect, several popular theories exist:

• Friction from the amber beads may generate static electricity, making it harder for ticks to hold onto fur.

• Essential oils and resins from the raw amber may be released through heat and motion, creating a scent or layer that repels ticks.

• Some believe it may change the dog's scent profile slightly in a way that ticks find less attractive.

Many dog owners report fewer ticks when their dog wears amber – making it a simple, chemical-free solution that’s kind to both animals and the environment.

The collar is lightweight and handmade to order.
Choose your preferred length and snap lock color (black or white).
We recommend the white clasp for easier visibility on dark coats or for low vision.

Sizing tip: Measure your dog’s neck and add 1–2 cm. Over time, the cord may stretch slightly as knots tighten.
If none of the preset lengths fit your needs, simply select the size closest to, and write your desired length in the order note at checkout – we’ll tailor it just for you.

Please note:

• Each bead is unique, with variations in color, size and shape – just like nature intended.
• This collar is not designed for leash attachment – it's meant to be worn like a flea collar, resting loosely around the neck.

Amber collars should fit snugly but not tightly. Over time, the cord may stretch slightly as the knots tighten.

If your dog is between sizes or you prefer a specific fit, simply choose "Custom" and leave your preferred length in the order notes.

You can let your dog wear the collar daily, or just during outdoor adventures. Many owners prefer continuous use in tick season, but it’s also effective for walks alone.

Important: This collar is not a leash collar. Never attach a lead – the plastic safety clasp is designed to break under tension to prevent choking.

• Remove during rough play or bathing to avoid damage.
  
• Clean gently with a damp cloth – avoid chemicals.
  
• Check the clasp regularly for signs of wear.
  
• Store in a dry place out of direct sunlight when not in use.
