More than a shop – an experience

With us, you'll find:

✤ Handcrafted amber jewellery from our own workshop.
✤ The opportunity to see amber polishing or woodturning (depending on season and how busy we are).
✤ A 12,000-litre freshwater aquarium.
✤ Our small amber museum, where you can learn about the history of amber – and about our own family’s work with amber through generations.

What we offer

  • Between Hjørring and Lønstrup, you’ll find our cosy shop and workshop, where the fascination for amber has been alive since 1980.

    For over 40 years, Margit & Erik Ravgård have been designing and creating unique pieces of jewellery from genuine amber – inspired by the shapes and colours of nature.

    Many of our pieces are handcrafted in our own workshop, where we carefully select, design, and work the amber so that each piece has its own unique character.
