A unique handcrafted Bonderup cross with a beautiful faceted amber bead in the center.

This elegant cross is a replica of a historic piece from the Ringerike style, circa 1050 AD, found at Bonderup in West Zealand, Denmark. The original is displayed at the National Museum of Denmark and is part of a treasure buried around 1060-1070 AD. The original featured a suspension ring and hung on a chain with animal heads in the Urnes style.

Our interpretation combines this Viking-era design with the warm glow of amber. The faceted amber bead at the center catches the light and creates a beautiful play of golden hues.

Amber and soap do not go well together – never use soap or cleaning products directly on amber.

Silver may tarnish – clean gently with a soft cloth and mild soap (but not on the amber). Gold can scratch – store separately.
