Amber Balm is a skin balm made from genuine powdered/crushed amber, beeswax, and pure white petroleum jelly.
Amber Balm is good for many purposes:

  • For the care of dry and depleted skin, such as hands, feet, elbows, and lips. Personally, we have had very good experiences with amber balm for red baby bottoms/children's bottoms.
  • For protecting the skin on your hands during dirty work, such as gardening and painting.
  • For massaging stiff and sore joints and muscles – it provides warmth and comfort.
  • Note: The color of the balm may vary depending on the type of amber we have used.

Amber Balm from Ravgården is produced by us. We have over 35 years of experience with amber balm and have experimented with different ratios over time, resulting in a recipe we are very proud of.

Usage:
Take an appropriate amount of amber balm in your hand – you can use a small wooden spoon if desired. Warm the balm between your fingers or hands to make it easier to work with. Then, massage the balm into the desired area. If using on hands or feet overnight, we recommend wearing soft socks or cotton gloves for extra effect. For use on red baby bottoms, we recommend gently cleaning the skin first and letting it dry for a minute or two before applying the balm. Avoid rubbing too much.

Ingredients:
Pure White Petroleum Jelly (Petrolatum), Beeswax, and Powdered Genuine Amber – nothing else.

Practical Glass Jar
Our amber balm comes in a practical glass jar, which can easily be reused once empty. We recommend washing the jar and using it for storing items like jewelry, beads, spices, or small snacks. When you no longer have use for it, please recycle the jar as glass.
